Beyond my main collections, I also explore new techniques and mediums to expand my creativity.
Caged, 36”x48”, Acrylics on canvas, Year 2024, This piece is a deeply personal exploration of a feeling I have carried since childhood. It represents the emotional weight/complexity of navigating past chapters and the lingering sense of responsibility for things beyond my control. I used an abstract, layered style to process the hurt and complexity of that experience, letting the movement of the paint express what words cannot. By titling it "Caged," I am reflecting on the feeling of being trapped within those past emotions, even as I use my art to move through them.

Feelings, Digital Camera, Year 2024, Capturing this candid moment allowed me to explore how photography can translate internal emotions into a visual format. I used a shallow depth of field to emphasize the subject's expression, mirroring the way music helps me tap into personal memories and current feelings during my creative process.

The Unknown, 17" width, 38" tall, 38" depth, Wooden Sculpture, Year 2024, This piece represents a complete shift from my original plan to the final result. I initially intended to create a sculpture of a dog, but as I began working with the heavy, tactile fabrics, the material took the lead. It evolved into a hybrid mixture of animals, becoming something far more mysterious and imaginative than I had first imagined. It is a testament to the beauty that emerges when I stop trying to control the outcome and simply follow where the material wants to go.
